How much are half hour / 1 hour guitar lessons usually?

How much are half hour / or 1 hour guitar lessons? Thanks in advance. I just started playing an electric guitar and I think i’d like to get into some lessons..

Excellent idea to get proper instruction.

Music stores generally will offer lessons for $20 or $25 per half hour, and a little less than twice that for an hour.

If you want cheaper, put a note on a bulletin board at the music department of a local college. See if a guitar major answers. They’ll know the latest teaching techniques (having just had those lessons themselves) and they’ll maybe give you lessons at the college for a few dollars less–negotiable.

My son takes electric guitar lessons once a week for a half hour. Each lesson costs $20. Hope this helps!

The charge is roughly $15 a session. But for professional, I teach at $50 a session.
